1. Do I really need life insurance?

The following types of individuals may benefit from a life insurance policy:

  • People who have a mortgage: those who own a house also own a large liability. Life Insurance allows you to the peace of mind to protect your loved ones, even if you are not physically here.

  • People who have others who are financially dependent on them. If you have kids, a spouse, parent, or anyone else, they may be affected by your absence. You can protect them for any given amount of time with a term or whole life insurance policy.

  • Individuals who wish to provide a financial gift. Many people want to cover education costs or donate to their favorite charity.

  • Those who do not already have final expenses paid for. If you have not already paid for your funeral costs, and don't want your family to incur that expense, a whole life policy may be right for you.

Keep in mind that it's important to consider not just your income but also your savings. A parent, grandparent, friend, or neighbor who offers daycare services is probably saving a significant amount of money each month, which can also be viewed as a form of income.

2. Do I really need an IUL / Annuity / Trust?

Financial planning can be an incredibly effective tool when utilized appropriately and with careful consideration. Each individual's situation is unique and influenced by a variety of factors, including personal circumstances, current financial status, and future aspirations. Understanding these elements is essential for creating a tailored financial strategy. Therefore, seeking a private consultation with a financial advisor or planner is often the best approach. This personalized meeting allows you to delve deeper into your financial needs, explore options that align with your goals, and develop a plan that best suits your specific requirements.

  • IULs serve as both life insurance and an investment vehicle and can be customized for your situation.
  • Annuities are a powerful tool that can be used to secure peace of mind for your future, as well as your family's.
  • While trusts have recently grown in popularity, they are not always truly necessary. There are net worth caps that dictate if a trust is needed. One of the most important things you can do for your family today is establish a will, a health POA, and a financial POA. Call us to discuss further details.

3. I'm not ready to buy, but I want to learn more. What do I do?

That's entirely normal. The application process for life insurance or financial planning tools involves several steps. Schedule a time with us to assess your eligibility, and then we can discuss the next steps together. Having a clear understanding of your situation is the essential first step towards achieving financial freedom.
